Todays Punk Playlist

Like you, I'm a HUGE fan of punk, mostly '70s and early '80s. Here's what I spun today:

Heartbreakers: L.A.M.F.
Johnny Thunders: So Alone and Que Sera Sera
:thmbsp:
The 'Johnny' on whom I have bestowed 'sainthood', btw. ;)
Sir Ganzale of Queens, NYC.

Definitely worthy of musical sainthood, IMO. :thmbsp:

BTW, my family and I are originally from Queens, and I not only saw Saint Johnny prowling the streets of downtown Manhattan occasionally--waiting for the man, I presume--but I also saw him live, with and without the HBs, a few times. To say that those shows were memorable would be the understatement of the decade. :D

I saw JT too many times to count, as well. The first time in a dive bar in Hillside, NJ, in the winter of '79, IIRC. Each show over the years had some particularly memorable, 'typically Johnny Thunders' moment.
