On advice from the purveyor of all things funky I'm posting this in the soul thread. This album is fantastic, runs the gamut from folk, soul, rock, even touches on some gospel-esque sounds. I heard this as a youngster and was floored. He wrote (of all things) Jet Airliner that Steve Miller made popular.
