The Mod Squad
Norah Jones "come away with me"
Beth Orton "daybreaker"
Aimee Mann "lost in space"
The Rolling Stones SACD releases I don't have any but it sure made me think about SACD or vinyl.
I am trying to think of a guy band(trying to be gender equity here) but I couldn't think of one. If only the Goo Goo Dolls had a 2002 release:D

Hmm...without my cd collection in front of me its sort of tough but here goes...

DJ Shadow - The Private Press
Coldplay - A rush of Blood to the Head
Beck - Sea Changes
Doug Martsch - Now you know
Breeders - Title TK

I guess I could list all the bootlegs I've gotten of Z-trip but that might be cheating :D

Tropicalian,

I played some of Doug martsch via wwwspun.com,sounds really good, have to put it on the ol' wish list.thanks

Moondog,
Yes, definitely a heartwrenching record. Makes for a nifty breakup record too :p

Opt80,
Have you heard any of Martsch's stuff when he was with Built to Spill? BTS is probably one of my favorite bands, excellent excellent stuff. The solo album is alot different than any of the other stuff but still highly recommended. Warm and folky.

Its good to hear that some of you share the same music tastes as me :)

I love Built to Spill's 20-minute live recording of Neil Young's "Cortez the Killer". Very cool.
