Topping D30/DSD/Roon

Has anyone used the D30 with Roon for DSD playback? I use Tidal most often. Thinking of using Roon/Tidal for DSD. Is there anything to down load for the D30, or will just using Roon make the DSD128 work?

There is nothing for the D30 that helps with MQA, youre maxed out at 24/96.

Software can only do up to the first fold to 88.2/96.
The second 176.4/192 and third fold back 352.8/384 will only happen in hardware decoding inside the DAC if it has the MQA decoding built in which the D30 does not.

I use one with Tidal as well. Sounds great. In 24/96.

DSD should be fine up to the DAC's limit.
