Saw an SD3000 down at the local junk auction today. Google suggests it came out in 1996. Would that make it one of the first DVD players?
Probably completely useless as it rattled when I picked it up and it's obviously a Japanese unit, but I have to admit it looks kind of cool. If it's cheap enough I may have to grab it, just to put it alongside my CDP-101.
