I think the ultimate Godzilla movie is yet-to-be-made. I hope this one delivers the goods. What I'd like to see is a Godzilla that is large enough that its footsteps, themselves, cause enough low-frequency vibration with every one that they are like mini earthquakes. That's what I remember most from the original movie: Those dreadful "whump....whumps".
