The EL84s seem to run ok but they test weird on my tester. Its a primative tester but generally works ok. They instantly peak to 100% whereas every other tube ive tested slowly ekks up after a few seconds. They seem a bit brighter then maybe they ought to be. The 12AX7s sound really nice.153092319193739029928.jpg1530923227203593854774.jpg

322 on the 12AX7s means they were made by Tung-Sol. I’m guessing the EL84s are Telefunken since they’re German. Odd that they’d say Germany and not Western Germany as was customary at the time.

Looks more like a Valvo or Seimens EL84 based on the Phillips etch codes near the base. You can decode those if you want to know for sure.

... you need to go back to the first page of Audio Karma then go to tube amps....do log in and at the very begining of the post is a post about EIA code learn to love them ....those codes are on tubes, speakers manufactors...i can't make out clearly the numbers on the 12ax7 to give you the correct manufactor

OP started this thread 5yr's ago

While a nice gesture trying to help him with the correct manufacturer he posted 3 times in this thread on the same day, didn't reply back to or acknowledge any of the replies and has since moved on.

Seems you're on a tear dragging up Stromberg-Carlson threads since 5pm, on top of this one you dragged up this from 2007

Not to mention this one in which you just reposted what you had posted previously this past December
