i found a used pair of walnut KG 5.5 in decent condition (asking $450) and used Synergy F2 (asking $350). I really miss my KG 4.5s I had for years so was wondering what you guys think between these two offers if I’m going used Klipsch.

Would be 99% for music powered by a B&K 3030 with a Kenwood KA8004 as the preamp.

    Thanks for your thoughts!!

KG's all the way (although that price seems a little on the high end for them).

That asking price is on the high side for the KG 5.5 (availability will always factor in so consider that). You can remind the owner that you have to replace the stock poly tweeters with titanium diaphragms and that the caps in the crossovers are way old and need replacing etc. and see if you can work for a better deal. Never the less they are a very good loudspeaker that you will truly enjoy listening to for a long time.Go get em!
