As best as I've been able to gather, the LS-845 was at the tail end of the high power triode era. Anyone wanting hifi performance for PA or modulator use had plenty of other options such as the 813 when these became available. Triad made one too but it did not have voice-coil taps.
Sure...but they are probably very far away and around the world. If you have ever seen a CVP-4 large, round case, 100+ Watt UTC opt, the LS-845 will not fit inside that case. The LS-845 would compete with the Altec Peerless #287 amp opt and would also be an upgrade for the rare RCA 845 tube theater amps of yore...
