Value on a Marantz 7CR (rack-mountable 7C)? Does not appear to have the handles that appear in other photos.

I would think it would drop the value a bit because it would leave out anyone wanting one to put in a cabinet. The damage to the faceplate would also be considered since it is rack mounted in the photo. Hard to keep those mounts totally brand new looking once used. But it is still a 7c and if two folks were looking for a rack mount version this one might go over the top.

I didnt get to see it before it sold, but it went for somewhere between $5,000 and $6,000 to the first in the door.

There was also a pair of Grado Monitor "JR" speakers, that had the added provenance of being the speakers in the Wurlitzer organ store in Disneyland's original Main Street (including photos of them in place with Mickey Mouse). They looked like an 8" 2-way in water-damaged walnut boxes.
