This was an award winning movie at the 13th annual Tucson Flim festival.:rflmao:

What an incredible stinker. Everything about this Western is bad. A good but totally over bearing soundtrack. Little details such as a an aluminum coffee pot (stainless Steel?) sitting next to a fire that would in a short time melt it. Modern pressed wood grain siding, polyester clothing, the movie is supposed to take place in the 1850’s, the Colt Peace Maker would not be produced for over a decade. Then an 1866 Henry rifle. They had wanted posters that looked like they were 150 years old not newly printed as a should have been. It wasn’t just bad acting but no acting at all. The lines were like they were reading from hidden Q cards. To those who know horses look at how fat they are, these are grain fed corral ornaments. Movies like this are fun to watch so you can pick out all of the problems they have. It also demonstrates just how difficult it is to make a good western.

Not to mention would even exist in 1850, a somewhat larger point. I could not make a film but getting the small details correct should be the baseline like having proper lighting. It's where things should be before the director says "Action!".

For most of the 19th century aluminum was a rare metal, so rare the Washington Monument was originally capped with a pyramidion of aluminium in 1884. Aluminium was picked because of it's rarity and the fact Aluminium doesn't lose it polish, nor would would it discolor the masoniary. The original was replaced in 1984 and was cast by the same foundry as the original The Colonel Frishmuth's Foundry.
