I'd say that looks pretty good for $300:

So the ad is a bit wrong. It is a STA-820 ... 40 wpc - 0.06% THD - 2 phono inputs.
The speakers are Optimus 25's - real walnut veneer with 10" woofer, 4" mid and 2.5" tweeter and mid/treble controls.
The turntable is a LAB390 - DD with strobe and pitch control.

Hopefully this guy would have better luck raising money for school by standing on the median at Blanchard and Hillside with a squeegee ... from his location map he appears to live only half a block away! ... hmm he's probably squating in the old Holiday Court Motel.

It looks like they've done this to all the usedXXXXXX sites, as I've just noticed it on UsedCalgary too...sigh. I don't like it at all. I find it now like Kijiji as whaleoil mentioned. Luckily for me (I guess) is that not many Calgarians use that site, but prefer Kijiji (ugh) and CL more. :thumbsdn:

I saw a pair listed on Vancouver's CL for $2k, no point mentioning that except for LPF (Ludicrous Price Factor). I wonder if they're the same ones?
