I have a Synology NAS set up and am streaming music to my PS Audio Directstream DAC thru ethernet. I want to watch some Concert Videos on my TV (via hdmi out of laptop) (would be interested in other options to do so) but I cant get the audio to play thru my DAC (ethernet). I would also like to watch Youtube videos and such from laptop w/audio going to DAC (without usb, just ethernet). Does anyone know how to accomplish this?? Ideas?
If I must use hdmi to tv and usb to dac is there a tablet I can buy that has hdmi out and usb audio? I have an old windows 8.1RT tablet but it wont let me install the drivers for my dac. It recognizes the DAC as a device but it shows it as a non windows certified device and it is not listed in my sound output options.
