Vintage DBX SF-100 Speakers?

Any thoughts on these DBX SF-100 Speakers? There’s a pair locally I can pick up for $60. They need new Grille Cloth, Foam, and Cabs cleaned up, but they’re all there, and they look interesting.

They do look interesting. I like the looks of them.

I bought a pair in black back in the day... and returned them. It's hard to remember what it was I didn't like, but I do know that the Polk 10B's I bought next were 180 degrees different sounding - and for the better. YMMV.

I had a small pair of Soundfields for a few days recently. They sounded great. One of the guys in my audio circle wanted them badly, so he took them off my hands for a price

Those look interesting enough to pull the trigger. Back in the day I had a client who had the top of the line model that required the EQ. These don't so you may have a real gem.
