The car I want to restore
Do not know how I missed posting her. I learned to drive on a 1961 Plymouth Fury with the 318 Poly engine and the push button Torqueflite tansmission. Sure was fun to parallel parking to pass my driving exam. Always been a Mopar guy.
Anyway, here is my current Mopar stable:
1967 Charger
Absolutely a beautiful Auto. I had a 67 Coronet for many years and still like the boxy Mopars.
How about some details to go with those pics?
The only car I have ever owned that I regretted selling. This 1972 Satellite Sebring Plus was my high school and college car. I get out of college, get a job and all the sudden I'm thinking I can have a new car. What was I thinking?

Here's our Mopars:
1938 Plymouth Coupe
This one is rough but it does run. Has the 201 cubic inch "L-head" six.
1961 Dodge Pioneer
This is in need of mechanical and cosmetic restoration. Has a 361ci V8.
1962 Dodge Custom 880
A remarkably clean "survivor" with just 42,000 original miles. It has the rare
optional 413 cubic inch V8 engine w/ a single 4bbl (Carter) carb. Wish it
came with the 2 4bbl cross-ram option, but it's still a pretty ballsy package
for an early 1960s "family" sedan. The guy that originally ordered this must
have loved torque. (there are no outward indications that it was ever
assigned to boat or trailer towing duty)
1963 Chrysler 300
My uncle's car bought new in 1963, mine since 2005. All original convertible
with the 413 cube, single 4bbl carb.
1964 Dodge Polara
Another one from my uncle's collection, now mine. This is an original
lightweight coupe, it has an original 426 ci "max wedge" V8 and cross-ram
with two 4bbl carbs.
