Vintage Sony Turntables

TTS-8000 another one: www.thevintageknob.org/sony-TTS-8000.html

For something less exotic, try a PS-X7 (touch-sense controls, carbon tonearm, direct drive, automatic) http://www.thevintageknob.org/sony-PS-X7.html

or maybe the older PS-8750 which is sexy as hell: www.thevintageknob.org/sony-PS-8750.html

PS-X800 is their TOTL linear tracker: http://www.thevintageknob.org/sony-PS-X800.html

I do like that linear, have you seen those pop up for sale very often?
Thanks jdurbin1

They made enough of them that it's not impossible to find one, unlike the first two that are damn near impossible to find. There are other linear models too, the entry model PS-LX520 for instance is quite easy to find for sale and quite inexpensive, but it's nothing like a TOTL model like the other ones I listed - works ok but nothing to get excited over.

I think this pretty much covers it, although I would add in the original Biotracer - the PS-B80. http://www.thevintageknob.org/sony-PS-B80.html

Have a PS-X800 and a TTS-3000a. Each different animals but extremely pleased with both. Made me a Sony fan.

My PS-1800a made me a big Sony turntable fan. I still have it along with a TTS-3000 and a PS-X75. Still my favorite top three tables.

I have a PS-5550 that is one of my favorites. Just put my Denon DL-103r on it and it sounds amazing.
