Vinyl vs CD: Which One Sounds Better?

The primary goal for me is to make either medium (digital and analog) sound JUST AS GOOD.

In my experience, a $300 turntable sounds better than a $300 cd player. Now with a $3000 tt versus a $3000 cd player the answer is less clear.

One thing of agreement....

They are different from each other.
Be it easier to listen to or more detail.
Only your ears know for sure.
I do both and enjoy both. Lots of fun with LP setup and playing. Lots of fun with CD detail and clarity.
Both enjoyable in my book.
