I guess it makes sense that the placebo effect only happens if you have performance anxiety. If you are pretty confident about your putting abilities then the brand name on the putter isn't going to matter.

I have always associated Nike with some pretty crappy golf gear and thought that the Nike sponsored pros were using some heavily customized gear that isn't very close to what is available to the public.
