Haoleb,
I have "The Wind" it is very good.I would suggest you buy his anthology cd.This will give you a better sense of where the guy came from plus you'll be exposed to his better stuff. The anthology is called I'll Sleep When I'm Dead

I have to admit, the man went out in style. This is a well written and performed goodbye album.

Contributions by Ry Cooder, Don Henley, Bruce, Jackson Brown, Tom Petty, and Joe Walsh. This is no all star band fiasco. Warren writes and leads all the way, with rock solid back up from the names.

So far, my faves are a cover of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door", "Prison Grove" (Ry Cooder on slide guitar), and Rub Me Raw (Joe Walsh on slide).

:D

You wanna sell records... DIE.

I just checked CDNOW for the new Warren CD. 156 reviews.
Most all the rest of his catalog... Less than 30 reviews.

Such is the life of yet another great artist who's died.

mOOn

BTW... I admire the man deeply. (really)
