Washington DC to NC (or even southern VA)?

Hi - purchasing a pair of speakers from someone in the DC area (Falls Church) but I've found it tough to get up there so far. Anyone traveling south along I-95/I-85 in the next couple of weeks i can drive to meet you, help with your gas, buy you lunch, etc. I live in the Raleigh-Durham area so anywhere between Richmond and Charlotte (I-85) or Richmond and SC (I-95) is easy for me to get to.
