Here's a thread to post your daily/weekly estate or garage sale finds.
    Please post pictures as well.

Here are my finds for August 17 2013

Paid $1 for all items except the vintage TV and Dinky Meccano truck. :)

icked up this vintage 1983 Sharp VC-381 VCR for free from a house clearance. I didnt test it.
Brought it home, cleaned it up and tested it. Everything seems to work.
The thing weighs a ton !
    Here's some pics and video.

I think maybe everybody else is too jealous to post their meager finds.

Yea, I don't really understand collecting tube tvs. If you want, there is about 2 truck loads at my dump each week you can have. VCRs too.

Enjoy them, just know you are a rare breed sir!

thats good because when every VCR hits the dumps, and then someone wants one, I'll have it and sell it for alot (because they are all in dumps)

Curious as to what the hobby is here. Environmental cleanup or photography?

You can use some of that great Denon tape to make a copy of that near priceless Eydie Gorme lp. You want to play that lp as little as possible. Congrats on more great finds.
