Well my M70 is dying...

...it has developed distortion in the left channel. I thought it might be the C70 but I tried that with a different amp and I can't duplicate the distortion which is always there. It started all of a sudden, was intermittent for a little while and now is constantly there. Sort of a fuzzy sound over the music.

I guess it'll have to go to the shop unless any of you have a trick up your sleeve.

Try a different speaker out, they have separate relays. Also, if the input attenuator was dirty it would cause what you describe.

Possibly fouled protect relay contacts.

Intermittent problems are a pain.

The fact that it's constant should make for a quick diagnosis.
