Welp, this is a new one (unusual car thread)

How about this one?

The little Nash Rambler (car not song) kind of reminds me of the VW Squareback.
Which I'd love to own one of, if they hadn't all rusted away by now..

I love them. Yes, corrosion killed most of them. Now they are expensive Collector's items in Germany and most likely in the United States as well...

Looks like a VW Squareback (type 3) crossed with a Nash Metropolitan. I kinda like it actually

I might be the only person in the world that is very disappointed to see a water cooled engine in something as awesome as a Corvair. Probably part of a larger symptom of being bored to death with the "put a 350 in it" solution that is applied to every non-stock vehicle for the last 50 years.
Maybe a nice porche flat six ?

Probably for reasons of 'authenticity' most Corvair fans like the original design, but I really think the second-generation models are superior--even or especially aesthetically. They're also improved mechanically and that infamous suspension was revised to good effect. I can just remember seeing the last of these still on the road in the 1970s.

I would totally have one of these today, except I'm trying to give up the car habit.
