One of my favs was this 1858 rem .44 cap and ball revolver for plinking.

i have that one. Also had the brass frame 12 Inch barreled one. The brass frame didnt hold up to well to hot loads though. The casting has a thin spot that cracked. So the long barrel went on the steel frame one.
Kind of punishes the shooter too, doesn't it?
Never bothered me but surprised some of my friends especially with hot loads.I had a brass frame 1861 navy that stretched due to heavy loads,my faultThis little baby had thousands of rounds shot through it..
