What are some of the best remote controlled receivers?

Yeah I'm following the remote control tuner thread, I do like remote control. I do have some older Onkyo receivers that sound OK but I don't have experience listening to different receivers with remote control.

Cambridge Audio receivers sound good, imo/ime, but may not have all the features one wants.

For Yamaha, I prefer the integrated amps to the current receivers.

Outlaw RR2150/2160 seem like a winner, but I haven't used/heard one.

McIntosh if the budget is healthy.

This one as far as I've ever owned. Lux R-115. 1989~1992
Tonight I plumbed this 2nd unit in and the old 115 into another preamp in another system for straight amp duty.
It has modest power (70wpc), 3.5db headroom, Great build quality and layout, beefy wire lugs, great tuner,
2 sets of pre-outs to use as a preamp if wanted, (I did for 2 years)
2 tape monitors, a processor loop and 6 AC outlets in back..
It likes 4 Ohm speakers and has the same wonderful Luxman tone you'd expect.
There may be a better remote controllable receiver since the early 90's, but I haven't yet heard it or could probably afford it.

The remote is basic, functional and durable..

If I had to choose it would be hard between the R-115 an the R-1120 (waiting repairs now:oops:),
with a separate remote preamp for source (or even a Yamaha Dolby surround processor) that has sounded even better, but not a true "remote receiver"..

What can I say? I'm a shameless Luxman fan  that somehow got addicted to their sound..
