The Nagaoka is not that exotic, just a mid-level one that I have been considering. Yours looked sort of like one at a distance.

I have never listened to a Shure cartridge. Going to have to scare one up somewhere.

If you keep an eye on ebay you can find them at an affordable price. The M93 was from there. I would not go over $25 shipped. Then put a nice stylus on it
If you find a metal body one, make sure it comes with the "clip mount"
You can also swap stylus in seconds.
