I'm going to get flamed for this, but I don't find this all that special. Sounds like he rehashed Tush. Too much overdrive on the guitar and his chops are a shadow of what they once we're. Based on the two songs posted I won't be breaking my neck to get this . Think I'm going to listen to 'Top's "First Album" and think about the old days...

Ya know, back in the late 60s, early 70s we called music like this folk. Now its alt country. This belongs on the same shelf with Robert Earl Keen and Steve Earle.

My friends saw him a few nights ago in Saratoga, unlike many new country artist , Stapleton knows how to use the country cliche lyrics, and not sound shallow or over rehersed. He is believable like early country.

Stapleton is very talented. I'd like to catch him in concert!

Todays cds that found there way home with me.Zeppelin, Steely Dan, and Cheap Trick G.Hits are nice duplicates. The Robin Trower is a remaster 24bit with bonus tracks

Couldn't pass up the Zep II or Aja.
