Live - Lightning Crashes
I guess were on the same wavelength
Stepped out for a bit. Back with this:
Also Deadpool approved.
Meat Puppets - Classic Puppets. 24 track compilation from the early years (released in ‘98). A nice cross section of some great albums.
Edit: I absolutely love the sound these guys got. I really appreciate how they just don’t fit comfortably in any one genre. Such a brilliant blend of punk, thrash metal, guitar-hero, psyche, country, folk...

Really! When we set them up in stereo, They came across very balanced with a huge soundstage. Now these are set up in rooms with maximum acoustic treatment's, Already installed. If anything they were bass heavy, We made the adjustments with the preamp, Or prepro, EQ. We're talking big buck clients. Those man caves were really set up.

The video for this song used to give me the creeps as a kid. I also have very fond memories of my father playing this through Cerwin-Vega D-5 powered by Kenwood Basic M1D and Basic C1 pre. I can also say seeing the excursuion of woofers as a kid scared me too. Especially CV
P-man, you're definitely sitting in the 'sweet spot.'
Great minds think a like, Quincy
Welcome to the thread @subtlebeast
Those are my 'dream' speakers. Unfortunately, the cost of the current 802D's are a nightmare.
Nice (but long) day at an induction/swearing-in ceremony for my Navy boys, then an exclusive tour of one of the USN's newest ships, The Little Rock (namesake of the WW II vessel). Finished-up with a nice late lunch/dinner and some ice cream. The official christening/launch is this weekend and there will be a lot of dignataries here. Pretty cool.
Going to hang with family; probably some tunes later. Enjoyed a little Nat King Cole earlier...
Ran out of coffee so I'm having to resort to the beer that followed me home.
New one on me: New Belgium Voodoo Ranger IPA
Not a bad taste at all. I could get used to this.
Here's my dream speakers. At $150,000 a pair it will take a lottery win, but one never knows:
Oh yeah, welcome subtlebeast, hellhound94, and Natitude to the thread.
Anyone I miss?
