Unlike when listening to my system, when I listen to albums on my smartphone, I jump around skip tracks, etc....I'm Already missing my system at home and I've only been in the Hospital 12 hours. Typically on my system I play the entire album (well on many albums)

That's how we use to listen back in our younger days. We skip and jump to the popular cuts. Yet at our age we learned to appreciate and perhaps those cuts that we've skipped many times have now become our favorites.

"Gonna Leave You" by Queens Of The Stone Age from the CD ~ Songs For The Deaf.

Just got the nearfield portion of my headphone/nearfield system operational.
The first EV-7100 amp had a channel out,,,got another and it's working nicely (knock on wood)...

System consists of:
Desktop PC w/SB Zx soundcard (using optical out).
Monoprice optical splitter.
Parasound D/AC-1000 (2x PCM63P-J dac chips).
NAD 106 preamp using XLR outs (w/DOD 830 Ser.II EQ in the tape monitor loop, just in case).
Electrovoice 7100 power amp (nice/robust dual mono design, using XLR inputs).
Canton GL-260 speakers.
Canton AS85-SC sub (temporarily being used in main BR system).
Primary headphones currently are AKG K-240DF.
Optical cables are Emotiva.
RCA & XLR Cables are all Mogami.

I gotta say this system is really sounding SUHWEET,and it's only gonna get better when I move the Canton sub back over to this system !

Ahhhh yessss,,,,FINALLY....
