Ella Fitzgerald was born 100 years ago today, so its all Ella all evening for me.
Like a couple others I'm starting with Ella's interpretation of the Cole Porter Songbook, since I love his music. Verve reissue of the original 1956 recordings.

This is one of those recordings that is a night and day difference between the CD and vinyl versions. I picked up the LP recently after owning the CD for many years. Glad I did, this cut sounds so much better.
