    Metallica learned how to do what they do by listening to this Scottish metal band. Holocaust laid the groundwork for thrash metal that so many bands followed.

    I've never seen it that way, Mac. I just thought he was tossing references in as fast as he could with an eye towards wordsmithing poetry. I've always thought it was a brilliant song.
