Giving the old Onkyo and Technics something to do. About once a month I'd say.
And now here:
This is a really great record. Much fun.
Orange label Capital. Very nice sounding pressing.
So... I didn't go out to the live screening of David Gilmour Live at Pompeii tonight - but, I'm there in spirit, listening/watching his Live in Gdansk show from 2006 (with Richard Wright on keyboards)...
Know what you mean. That song heralded in something new in metal. Ulrich, Mustaine and Hetfield were listening very closely. You know the whole album is incredible. The 1998 Castle expanded CD re-issue is all that and more including the 45's that I posted today and Baphomet from the compilation album "Metal For Murtha's".
"Fuzzbuster"? I have not heard that word since forever. The seventies comes to the front, as those were new in cars as well as CBs. Awesome!!! And I don't even like to use that adjective... Oh yeah, nice spin.
I'll check out that cd someday. I never cared for Diamond Head too much until I got their recent 2 cd version of their debut that contained original mixes. Much better than the Behold the Beginning mixes, which I also have on cd.
I got Metal for Muthas vol 2 on vinyl somewhere....
Iron Fist Magazine (RIP) or Terrorizer Magazine documented Metal in length and featured Angel Witch as an origin of Thrash Metal.
Sheryl Crow "Tuesday Night Music Club" (one day late).
(Got the volume turned up, and my dog? has ninja type moves trying to sneak in and sit at my feet. Too loud for dog ears, so I have to boot him out every 2-3 minutes. )
And now ...
leave your hat on - just the hat...
Simone recently tweeted that Sheryl Crow would be turning in her grave if she found out kid rock was running for governor ( forgot what he is running for)... nonetheless, she responded "I'm still alive asshole"!!! Haha!!
Some Hootie & the Blowfish
house inventory, catalog, photos - time to upgrade insurance
You get a selfie with this one.
The Possum Trot Orchestra - Suraci • Minton • Suraci (Southern Can CDs SCCD 2225), compact disc
This is their best release, imo, before the percussion took over. I've seen these guys play in a local record store, a local Borders (R.I.P.), at some weird church place (no offense), and a local food co-op. I also saw the Suraci's at a Goodwill and walking through a local mall.
I agree. She broke ground for a lot of others. Background for MJ? . She broke my heart a bunch of times. "I like a good beer buzz early in the morning " Bang...I'm in love.
Everything OK? what happened?
