Great CD especially Hey Joe. He managed to bring new life to a played out song.
i was familiar with "Mighty Rearranger" but not this....productions great, its raw and theres always echoes of Zep,Robert waiting for the herb to arrive in that legendary Welsh cottage.....Great CD especially Hey Joe. He managed to bring new life to a played out song.
I think the variety of his taste is a very important factor in the Zep album catalog, but perhaps not mentioned much in the written history of the band..It really came to the front in the Page Plant reunions in my opinion, but just my opinion is only informed by what I hear in the later recordings post Zep^^^^I like the Honeydrippers stuff and his 80's---> and beyond solo material, not only because the material is solid, but because he now _sings within his vocal range_!

I remember showing my Dad a picture of Led Zeppilin circa 1970 and he quipped " Jimmy you know if a barber got a hold of these guys he could put his kid through college." Lol,thanks Dad.
