Sometimes it's a dynamic 15 watts. And efficient speakers.

Absolutely to that, 70's 15 watts was RMS, not this bogus gear measured in 30 millisecond tone bursts...( a completely useless measurement)
A high current tube class A design measured at 15 watts rms will compete with 100 watts or more of transistor amps, and usually not even be load sensitive, unless its a posh boutique amp that's designed for a specific load, and that's sorta limiting to the owners speaker choices....sorry there I go again
