I think I've been doing the same thing for years. I came from my computer's headphone jack (mini plug into >Y spillter w/ both ends being female. Ran 2 long standard RCA cables 30' into audio in of my AVR in my living room. I do get stereo separation and get all i-net radio stations this way. From from audio out to tuner in of my NAD 1020a preamp also gives me 2 chl capabilities. Because run was so long and I was picking up minor hum I installed a ground interr
upter module and no more hum. Sounds a bit convoluted but it does work and affords me another source of tunes. Looking carefully one could see a double VGA tap. I ran a VGA monitor cable also from my machine into living room wall mounted Toshiba. This gets me the concerts off You-Tube and other sites onto larger screen format. Don't goof on me guys yes, it's a 27 y/o Gateway w/ newer hard drive but it still does what I need it to do. ....Lew
