I had the H-2000 in gold. It was one of the best sleeper components out there. Excellent for DVD-A too.
Does this one have the sealed transport too?

AFAIK, they are the same except the H2000 has Direct Audio and the H1000 does not. Wish it plays CDR, the owners manual says cannot.

This came in the mail today. New toy. Only tube cd I can afford. It’s in pretty decent shape considering it’s 1991 age. I see around the door someone had pried it open a bit but didn’t let a professional do it. Almost most I have seen are like this. Will get a full rebuild at hi tech audio if I like it. Anyone else running this one.

I finally got one of my own. Been wanting a 490t for awhile. They hold their value so I didn’t get a discount of any kind. I hooked it up to my system and was very impressed with the sound. Very detailed and clear. Especially being built in 1991. Voices were more airy hard to describe as the sound is totally different than my onkyo.

I have Fisher Profesional Digital Reference AD-Z1 and also Audio Aero Capitol. Both are like new and play excellent. Love to listen music on them (I have 2 listening rooms). I also listen TurnTable (3-Marantz TT15S1, Lenco L85 and Palladium-7000 (Micro Seiki) ).

Does the 7030 sound as good as the CD63E?

Replaced a Yamaha CDC 715 that gave up the ghost with a new Onkyo C 7030. Love the sound and simplified look -can't beat the price either.

Not yet. Do you have some Link about it? Actually mine is DAC-Z1 changer, not single CD player AD-Z1, but they are the same.

I hardly ever listen to CD's, but do have a Pioneer PD-101 in the rare event. $1.00 at a yard sale.

NAD C 516. Nice and simple. Sounds good. Remote is rather lame and so is this picture. Dang, I need to get a decent camera!
