Another fact learnt about speakers on Washington DC CL - B&W makes speakers for Sony


Well they do look nice ... but just because they have yellow (Kevlar?) drivers, doesn't automatically mean they are made by B&W to be marketed under the Sony brand.

B&W made: Sony SS K10ED Speakers in original box retail 699 - $155
Both speakers in Excellent+ condition, 100% working and sounds very good, has deep bass for this bookshelf style speakers.
So Sad to let this go, just need different set to match my stereo. I can demo it anytime. Local pick up with cash only.

Not sure a new belt will help an idler turntable, but it's on Craigslist so it's probably true.

I didn't even notice until later that the person selling the Altec 19s listed them as "Alter Lansing Model 19s"

That's either very subtle and clever wit on the seller's part, or a very funny Freudian slip . . .

^^ I missed that too until you pointed it out. I'd let the seller off the hook completely except the change was so subtle that it's obviously easy to miss. He did say the drivers were replaced so I don't think he's trying to pull a fast one either.

The ring is hilarious.
