What is the best integrated amp you've heard?

Is it me, or does Eico look awfully similar to Leak Delta amps?

On that note, one of my favorite amps, LEAK Delta 70:

Just got a set of knobs, so it will be all-original as soon as I have time to replace them :)

Nice Leak!

Besides the Sansui AU-X1,the Pioneer A-91D is another fave... I always tend to think of it as the Pioneer SA-9800 of the 80's as they both sound so similar.
Another top fave is the Trio/Kenwood Model 600 supreme,it's build quality is awesome (probably the best out of the 3 I've mentioned). It sounds awesome too!

Hi i have a Ta-f555esR (japanese version) wich is the ta-f830es top of the line integrated amplifier, i boughted from Hifi.do serviced and like new, and it´s much much better than the ta-f530es i had, richer sound, however the Sony have a very worm sound and it´s clear too when you have the right set up, i like it a lot, the thing is this amplifier can be an excelent choice there are some amplifiers who are 5 or 20 times more expensive and they don´t give the same wonderful sound as this one, not to mension the quality of the chassis, this thing it´s a big heavy rock.

Tube: HH Scott 296 and LK-72. Solid state: Yamaha B-2 because of the unique sounding VFET's. Honorable mention goes to Accuphase E-202 with variable damping.

Probably the ASR Emitter/2 Exclusive I'm using now.

Probably a toss up between a Yamaha A/S3000 and an Audio Research VSI 75.
They were different from each other but both very, very good.

Sansui AU-7900. When my (now late) dad used it to drive a pair of JBL 4311's, it sounds alive, but the speakers didn't allow me to hear the finest details. When I used it to drive JBL 120Ti's, it became audio nirvana. Cymbals sound clear and detailed, yet silky smooth. Vocals are warm, forward, airy, and lively. I'm sure there are many integrated amps that could drive the JBL 120Ti's better, but I haven't got the chance to hear any. On the other hand, other integrateds I've auditioned do not sound as good on the JBL's titanium dome tweeter. NAD has strong bass, but it makes the JBL's top end sound harsh. Yamaha is detailed and flat, but it's way too clinical and caused listening fatigue in the long term. Marantz is too sweet on the vocals. Only Sansui strikes the right balance to make the otherwise clinical speakers sing.

That's a nice integrated Joao, I have a soft spot for high end Sony gear.

Received this Sony str-4800 receiver a month ago now, he arrived with several damages all around and i had to fix it, well me and an audio technician, as you may see in the pics, front glass broken in two places, the metal plate below suffered huge impact, feet were broken and sound didn´t come off, but now things are becoming well and this receiver is now in working order again, inside a circuit board was out of place that´s why he auto protected himself and sound didn´t come out, the tuning button was all inside too... oooppsss i posted out of place guys sorry:no: i ask to move this post to my own please

Dang, this is a tough one. It's between two that I have now. The Rega Brio-R or the Krell S-550-i. I'd read that it could bright but I have surroundings that take the edge off.

I've have quite a few integrated amps, and I have to say my favourite was my Kenwood Supreme 500, followed by my McIntosh MA-6200, followed by my Kenwood Supreme 600. Next would be an NAD c-372. Also, I really likeD a Sansui AU-5500 I once had.

Nothing else came all that close. Until I think of something else. :D
