If you have the chance try to see them live. They are one of the most intense live act I have ever seen (and they are still touring, played at Roadburn last night).
Sorry missed the question. On my setup the recording comes across just superb. No surface noise, black silence between tracks. Instruments are all clear, bass has no distortion, voice is crystal clear.
Of course, I only run vintage gear that is just approaching decent. Grado prestige red on a Sony PS-X6. Might be different on an audiophile level of equipment.
