As a mortician I’ve had some really odd requests for music at funerals. What songs do you want played at yours?

Don't really care, as long as it's not 'The Hokey Pokey' !! I heard that when the guy who wrote it died, HIS funeral was a mess. I mean, they put his right leg in, he put his right leg out.....

Is it safe to assume that you’d prefer a secular service? :eek2:

My fiancé’s father wanted this song played at his service. He also wanted hookers and blow.

    Hey
Rihanna Giddins wayfaring stranger. Sorry about the spelling, but look it up. I'm really not that religious, but damn. The banjo/ voice, just so stripped down. I've not heard anyone version that I comes close.Eric

As long as it's played on an accordion, I don't care. My wife hates the accordion.

Are you familiar with Bromberg's Demon In Disguise album? I especially like the tracks Sharon, Jugband Song, and the title track. His Mr. Bojangles is pretty good, too.

I did some tunes for my late friend, David Livingston's memorial party. It was an easy name to honor.

    Livingston's Gone To Texas-Jimmy Buffett
    Livingston Saturday Night-Jimmy Buffet
    Dr. Livingston-The Moody Blues
Dave, Dave's Not Here-Cheech and Chong
Mr. Livingston-Gypsy Rose Lee This one was a real Hoot. According to Gypsy, Mr. Livingston is well endowed.
