I not the biggest fan of fully auto, love my Pioneer PL 514 Semi auto but I just picked up a Realistic lab 400 full auto off eBay it's almost mint condition and everything works great trying some of my different cartridges in it.

Just picked up these 2 at a flea market. $40 for both. Both need a little work.

Wow, this thread started the month I graduated high school! And I was using the same TT then as now: Technics SL-7 (well it currently supposedly needs a lube job or belt, so I am not using it, but I'm not using anything else, either).

I just ordered ZZ Top tickets for me and the old man. It’s the Blues and Bayous Tour with John Fogerty. Concert is on Father’s Day next Sunday. Pretty excited.

Unfortunately this is the only ZZ album I own and I’m not sure why..

I have two humble turntables. A Technics Sl-j3 and a Technics SL-D202. I love both of them. I always seem to go back and forth on which one I perfer, so I just love them equally now.

I own and very happy with a ProJect Xpression III with the acrylic platter and Ortofon 2M red cartridge.

Just picked up a Music Hall mmf 2.3 for the living room system. After replacing the factory load with a nice Ortofon F15E I had lying around and also going with the acrylic platter replacement, I think I've actually got a pretty nice sounding table. Very musical, very quiet and the lightweight arm does a very nice job of tracking without adding any extra feedback. Funny how the arm geometry is almost identical to my 1990 Pro-Ject One original edition.

Did you have to adjust the tonearm height to adapt to the thicker platter? I had to jack mine up to the point where I needed spacers on the dust cover so closing it would hit the arm!

No. It came with the acrylic platter so everything was setup correctly.
