Just the one..a JVC A20
Mitsubishi LT30 straight-arm tangential tracker, mid-80s. Supported by four old AQ "Big Feet" blue sorbothane hemispheres. Currently, Ortofon M2 Black.
It's a little ugly now, but I have plans. AR TA.
I just picked up a Garrard AT6. Looking forward to cleaning it up and taking it for a spin.
I had (now back in its box) a Rega Planar 1 - one of the newer ones. It was an interim deck to see if I was gonna get back into vinyl - and did I! I quickly replaced it with a Linn Axis/Linn Basik Plus/AT120eb - As decent as the Rega is, the difference in performance is night and day; the Linn at over 20 yrs old is still such a beautiful turntable. I now have a little upgrade bug, so will be looking to upgrade the stylus (ATN150SA perhaps) and buy a decent Phono Stage (currently using a Rega Fono Mini A2D)
Nice table, I am a fan of the pioneer PL turntables especially the 518 I have the 514 and love it.
Down sized to now just having a Technics SL 1200 mk2.
New to the forum here!
I just realized I actually have three TTs! One is not functional (my first player, being a cheap radio shack model). Last year I picked up an Audio Technica LP60 which I have been using for over a year but I just got a Pro-Ject Primary for Father's Day.
New here too.
Just thought I’d add my refurbished td125, took me about a year to get her to this state. Grace 707 tonearm , with Grace F9/SountSmith Ruby cart. Running with Lounge Phono preamp.
Here are my newest TTs. The first one is a Garrard AT6 and the second one is a Steward Warner. Both from 1947.
I think you are about 20 years off on the age of the Garrard.
I thought so to but hey what do i know. It was his story.
MCS 6700 and Technics SL1360
Love them both but the I have a soft spot for the MCS.
All Technics here. Purchased my SL-220 new in 1978. Upgraded about a year ago to a SL-1401 as my main table. Last acquisition was a SL-D202 about a week ago. And almost forgot about the SL-1700 MKI in the basement that I need to refurb.
Newest addition and slated for my new office, a rescue of a couple of years ago which I had stored away for future use someday, my second Technics SP10-MK2.
With some help (thank you Chris for the powder coat and AK's savvy electronics gurus), I finally devoted some time and effort and cleaned it up a bit and brought it "up-to-spec":
With the Tenuto gunmetal mat from Puresound:
And, for the purists at heart , the stock rubber mat:
For inquiring minds :
What a metamorphosis! I'm really pleased with this.
Tonearm and plinth pending. Need to consider some ideas and options.
Simply outstanding work!
Well I finally purchased my dream turntable a pioneer PL 518 direct drive in mint condition after about a year of trying and bidding on others I scored, it works excellent, But the USPS delivered it with good ding in the back and a slight ding on the right upper corner. I viewed this very carefully before purchase is was mint. Contacted seller sending photo's of damages to see if I can get some compensation for damages. This sucks it was perfect. Good deal seller feels bad about dings from shipping using USPS gave me 77.00 refund, all's well ends well.
My first vintage TT,Pioneer PL-550=Stanton 681eee, first resale shop score 15.00 for TT 32.00 for cartridge works great
Just got this Sanyo TP 625 up and running. Pretty happy with it until I can save for my Debut Carbon.
