After I got the 3248 MCS (NEC built) receiver the other day I hooked it to some Polk RT25is and a Sony SACD changer (which sounds no different than my regular CD player) I have really got a crush on it. It it built very well, looks good and sounds great and I am totally amazed and how truly nice it is. I will never shy away from MCS receivers again.
Wow my wife had that exact model same color and everything. That Magnavox sat on the kitchen counter for years and just plain got worn out from all the tapes that got played through it back in the day.Blasting some tunes at the lake on my Magnavox D-8300 ghetto blaster

When I got it it played a tape for about ten minutes and then the gears in it turned to dust. Damn thing will get super loud with the radio, it surprised the hell out of me.

Sweet! Gave me incentive to pull this old rarely seen German made gem out, a Grundig RR 660 in perfect working/looking condition. Tape works perfectly also, they don't build them this quality anymore

Thanks! This is a weird one as it "looks" like a 6 gang tuning section that is adjustable from the back?
