Hard to find: 1987 Sansui AU-X901 'Vintage' amp.

Got real lucky... & got a great one. Real nice price too.

Chang 3800 Lightspeed power conditioner for $55.
Perfect and excellent condition so I couldn't resist.

My Denon DP-1250 with an ADC LMF tonearm and Grado 8MZ Cartridge for about $300 maybe? And they didn’t destroy it in shipping.

I sold the arm and cart at different times for about $400ish. So I guess that makes my DP-1250 -$100. ;-)

Have to be the mint ADS PB1500 powered subwoofer with matching C1500 active crossover, that I bagged for $1.50 - granted, I did have to drive about an hour to pick the stuff up but even with the cost of gas etc. that's still a helluva good price for nice gear like that.

I was browsing one day and spotted a pair of Realistic Supertweeters in a pile of "misc old speakers". He said to make an offer on any speakers in the picture. I offered $15 and he took it. When they came, I just cleaned them up, tested them, and relisted them for $120 BIN and got it in an hour.

Mine was a Pioneer SX-D7000 that I bid $100 on it and was shocked I won.

I bid like 2 days to go and forgot about it. Still works great.

120 watts of real power. Flouroscan works great.

Searching misspellings [Samsui, Merantz, etc] can net nice scores. I won a $400 LP for the minimum bid of $125 from no bidders/misspelling.

EBay ? Hmmmm.....

Technics RS-B965 for $50 fully working
Nakamichi Cassette Deck 2, $60 fully working with a bunch of other gear.
Technics SL-QL1, $50, needed a recap.
Many cameras that only needed minor repairs.
