Right now it's a little Pioneer SX-434. A nice little performer. Can't complain for the $10 I paid for it. lol
I thought my basement rig looked and sounded especially good today and I don't think I've posted it here - apologies if I have, but it's sure been a while. Pioneer pieces are the SX-3900 receiver (fully recapped including the 4 main filter caps), a custom walnut veneered PL-570, a CT-F900 cassette deck, a RT-707 reel to reel, a DT-500 timer, and an SR-303 reverb amp just for looks.
Some crappy cell phone pics of my SA-8100 and TX-9800. The TX-9800 is usually hooked up to my tube amp so I need to find a TX-9100 or TX-8100 to match the SA-8100.
Just picked up a mint Pioneer SX 300 T. Can't wait to post picks when it arrives, built ca. 66- 74 depending on the sources you read, beautiful wood case and pre sixties style face...pictures pending...any one here have any AT 300 info.?
Andrew Jones SP-BS22-LR are the first Pioneer item since I bought a CT-F9191 in 1975. Where did the time go??!!!
Finally got back to all Pioneer after the Technics TT died. SX-1050 receiver, PL-4 TT, PD-F908 CD player, SE-L40 headphones, CS63 DX speakers paired with HPM 60 set.All in great condition and recapped/restored as needed. Perfect for me and the wife tolerates me!
Recently put together system. Pioneer Reference - CT-91a Cassette deck. Pioneer Reference - PD-91 Compact disc player. Pioneer Reference - F-91 Tuner. Pioneer Reference - C-73 Pre-Amp. Pioneer Reference - M-73 Power -Amp All I am after now is the turntable Pioneer PL-90.
Just got this visually dead mint, fully recapped , fully deoxed Pioneer SX 300 T in a wood case. The wood case has no issues with the veneer and no gaps on the joints, as new. Original pebble finish paper owners manual was included..$80.00 on the road taxes and tag. And as a bonus a similar condition Onkyo DX 1800 CD player thrown in for free...The new heart of the bedroom system as of today...seriously potent for 12 watts..I know it's not a world beater but it's really fun to look at and sounds wonderful.
