This Threshold S/200, a Nelson Pass design, may be a keeper. Always wanted one and its sound is very impressive.
The cabinet, etc. were a mess.
The rack handles looked as if they were tortured. After hours of work, they still need further buffing.

You know, this is just a suggestion. But a machine shop that does engine rebuilding maybe able to resurface the handles at a minimal cost.

Never thought I'd have one of these but....glad I grabbed it (even though I'm VERY careful these days in bringing home any more "anything").

A Sony (ES) DVP- CX777ES 400 bank CD/DVD SACD Multi-Changer. For all my "stopping" in adding to what I have? The fact that it has a brushed aluminum face and integrates my Pioneer Spec stack into a more modern connectivity set (?) ....has me smiling.

Not a "huge score", but that GW visit helped me out in several ways least suspected:
1. Connectivity and integration
2. Remote use with vintage gear increased.
3. Consolidation
4. A fine collection of loose DVD/CDs' (gifted recently to me) has a home.
5. ....and the visit also has my girlfriends AV setup sporting some very nice Bowers and Wilkins DM 610i with stands!

Very very few dollars did so much....can you blame me?

Facebook Market place keeps giving up the great deals. This Realistic STA 90 for $35 from the original owner. It had been in storage and was fairly dirty inside and out but after about an hours worth of cleaning inside and out and it is shaking the house through my Polk RT25i test speakers. Some Feed and Wax made the case look great as well. I flipped my Sansui 885 that I got last week, I was just fairly un impressed with it and got a good offer so out it went. This 45 WPC Realistic sounds just as good as the 60 WPC Sansui.....

Picked up a Nikko TRM-750 integrated amplifier off Craigslist last week. It had been boxed up for a few years and is very clean inside and out. Everything works. 55 watts into 8 ohms, and the build quality is robust.

This will be my summer/fall project. In addition to the usual rebuild stuff, the preamp has some design issues, so it will get some tweaks and new op amps.

I love Nikko gear.

ANOTHER Revox... this one an F36, but without its carry case.
Heads are original (quarter track) but with almost imperceptible wear.
Now I have D36, F36, and G36. Jus' need A, B, C & E!
