1970 Dual HS35, mint condition.
Turntable: Dual 1209.
Wow, that's gorgeous, Chris! What will you be using for speakers?
Fran, I'm using matching speakers - 1969 Dual CL12 full range speakers.
They do not produce breathtaking, but authentic sound.
Please shoot a pic with the speakers when you have your "new" system set up.
I really love my 2 DUAL TTs - a 1229 & 1218. I've been using a 1229 for almost 40 years.
Which TT was used in your HS35? I don't recognize it. It looks like the tonearm pivots are different than either of mine.
It is the Dual 1209.
Chi-Fi J. Linsey-Hood class 'A' amp. Exceptional SQ budget bargain alternative to tube amps of equivalent power.
Wow that is beautiful Chris.
Wow! Very nice looking Dual, Chris! Beautiful condition, looks like it wasn't used much! Never seen a Dual turntable & amp combo before!
What cartridge is on it? Shure?
And here you see the HS35 with the rare CH20 folding dust cover, and CL12 full range speakers.
One classy looking vintage system! Looks even better with the matching Dual speakers next to it!
A very very rare Dual system. I am pretty proud!
Just got this TPA3250 chip amp in the mail yesterday... the FX-AUDIO FX502S PRO
Very nice sound quality for such a small amount of money.
Speaker Wire - used Tara Labs RSC Reference (7 ft cables).
Just picked up a B&O 9000 stereo receiver went to hook it up and got a lesson about proper connectors so I had to order speaker connectors so now I wait
You done good Chris. Real good! I've had a 1229 since my junior year of college. It's in mint condition and still works, but not in service for a few years. Picked up a JVC, QL-7 a few years back that I'm using presently. Enjoy your latest addition.
