20180831_074910.jpg A Marantz SR7000. There were a couple of ads on CL, but after dong a search on Ebay a listing popped up for a Hifi shop about an hour away. Most of the reviews commented on how musical the receiver was and how it was one of the last Marantz units to be completely made in Japan. They wanted $99 for it and it blows my PM505 away in terms of detail and spatiality. I really should have gone for the one with the remote, though.

The My First TT..!!
I had to get some experience with something inexpensive, before diving into a $2,000-$4000 TT..!!
I’m using a old receiver from the closet as a Phono stage..

Now to swap out the Cartridge , and purchase a Phono stage..
I think that swapping out the RCA and ground cables with Silver coated Copper wire and Neutrik connectors..?

I recently spotted some Coral 10" coaxials for sale on eBay, l contacted the seller about them and he mentioned that he had some 12" Coral triaxials to sell.
We coordinated the purchase to conform with rules
He listed them and l bought them on the spot.
Coral TX12-50.
Probably paid to much but l just had to have them..
Now comes a separate post about cabinets for themIMG_8069.PNG

Picked up a Technics SL-J2 TT off FB Marketplace for a whopping 10. Even included the Christopher Cross album. lol Works and sounds great.

Guy I met last week who I bought a turntable from, he told me he had some KLH Sixes. Texted me tonight to see if I was interested. Won't say what I paid for them but he refinished them and they look and sound great. Will replace the caps but they sound great as is. Happy to have a pair of sixes in the stable.
