Wheels,Wings & Rails

Wings: with Canon F-1 and 500mm mirror lens.

Wheels: with Canon T-70 and 100mm Hanimar.

Rails: with Canon A-1 and cheep-ass Sears-Roebuck 80-200 zoom.

The B-17 gets all the glory but the B-24 carried more bombs at a faster speed for longer distances. Here's my dad and his '24 after 25 missions over Europe. Check out that hole where an AA round apparently went clear through without detonating.

A snapshot he brought home. They must have been on a bomb run since the belly turret is sucked up and the bomb bay doors are open (they slid into the sides rather than drop down to eliminate drag).

Is this a thread for people to show off their vehicles, or is it for creative photography of all things transportation? I'm confused.

I think creativity in the photography is not required (but why not welcome it?), and any photos of the stated subject material are allowed. So, the answer to the question is "yes."
