Which would you rather: 700's or 600/650's?

What wood Ken do?
I've been thinking about this for a little while now:

Which would you rather have - the trio of Kenwood 700C, 700M, and 700T or the 600 and the 600T? 3 pieces vs. 2. And then throw into the mix the 650/650T - though maybe that gets into personal preference of gunmetal vs silver. I have a pretty strong preference for gunmetal and so in my mind, the toss up is between the 700's and the 650's.

I haven't been able to really come to a conclusion on what I think. That's probably due to the fact that my 700m and c both need work, so I haven't truly gotten to enjoy what they have to offer. And the idea of 2 units is appealing simply for fact that there are more places that I could physically fit them. But then again - it's the 700's - the tip-top of the line for Kenwood in the 70's.

But what are your thoughts? If you could have one stack of Kenwood Supremes what would it be and why?

I'd take the 700s anyday. I have a 700m on my bench I am rebuilding for a friend, I just got parts today. I am looking forward to hearing it restored.

The 650 is great, but good luck finding one and a tuner to match. Great phono section in the 600/650's.

In every single other area, the 700's are the best. Good phono section in the 700C, but the 650/600's have an awesome sounding phono section.

Always loved the phono section on the 700C,listened to unrestored and my EW 700C, and obviously the EW 700C is the best pre,but I have at my disposal a 600 Supreme integrated and I honestly find that with an integrated as robust as the 600;somthing has to give.Too much packed into one box the size of a 700c or t.
Perfect example of when separates, purpose built for each other, meld together perfectly.
My 2 cents...

Listening to 600 now, sounds awesome! Now I am going to stand up and walk into the other room and turn on my 700 series. OMGoodness, the bass! Why should anyone have to choose?

Always wanted a 650. Just one of those really special pieces. Would easily take one over a 700.
